Pete Doherty jumps on the fashion bandwagon

Anything Kate Moss can do, her boyfriend Pete Doherty can do better - or at least he seems to think so. Only days after Moss announced that she was going to design a line of clothing for British retailer Topshop comes news that Doherty will be designing a line of clothing as well.

The Daily Mirror’s 3AM Girls report that Doherty has joined forces with a label called Gio-Goi to design and model “customised T-shirts, retro suits and jackets.�? Pete first teamed up with Gio-Goi earlier this year, but the brand dropped him due to his drug use. An insider tells the 3AM Girls, "Gio-Goi really wanted Pete to be involved but they had to lose him when the drugs issue started getting out of hand.�?

Luckily for Pete, Gio-Goi is willing to give him another chance since he has successfully completed rehab at London’s Priory Hospital. Says the source, “[Pete’s] stint in rehab seems to have gone well and they are excited about working with him again." The tattler claims that an official announcement from the company about the collaboration will take place "in the next couple of weeks."
