Daniel Smith's death "not natural"

An autopsy of Anna Nicole Smith’s 20-year-old son, Daniel has revealed that the cause of his death was “not natural.� The information was released on Tuesday by authorities in the Bahamas.

Said her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgil, "the cause of death is not natural…We wish to reserve [announcing] the cause of death at this time." The coroner did state that a full autopsy report and toxicology results would be made public by the end of the week and that her staff will be interviewing the "relevant witnesses" to create a timeline of Daniel’s death.

The autopsy results refute stories published earlier in the week that Daniel had died of a heart attack. The police also tried to refute other reports that claimed that Daniel had been "vomiting uncontrollably" before he died. The assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamian Police Force, Reginald Ferguson said, "That's just talk. We have no evidence at this time to suggest that."
