Celebrity baby boom

It’s a baby boom among the B-listers. Amanda Peet, Jon Heder and Patrick Dempsey are all expecting. It will be Peet and her fiancé and Heder and his wife’s first child. Dempsey and his wife are on child number two.

Though Peet has not yet confirmed the news that she is in the baby way, US Weekly reported the news earlier this week. An insider said, “Amanda’s almost 12 weeks along. She's thrilled." The actress has been engaged to screenwriter David Benioff since July 2005 and the source claims they will be married in New York City this month

Jon Heder, who met his wife Kirsten while studying at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, is going to be a daddy. Heder made the news public while promoting his upcoming film with Billy Bob Thornton, School for Scoundrels. Jon is perhaps better known as his title character of Napoleon Dynamite.

Partick Dempsey and his wife of seven years, Jillian have a second child on the way. The couple, who met in 1994 when Patrick came in to Jillian’s salon, also have a daughter named Talula Fyfe.
