Looks like Wisteria Lane will be hearing the pitter-patter of little feet. When Marcia Cross announced last week that she and her husband of just over two months, Tom Mahoney were expecting their first child together, many people wondered whether the pregnancy would be written in to Cross’s hit show, “Desperate Housewives� or whether the pregnancy would be concealed, like Debra Messing’s was when she was pregnant while on “Will and Grace.� Marcia’s co-star, Eva Longoria, however, has broken the news that Marcia’s character Bree Van De Kamp will indeed be pregnant for the third season of “Housewives.�
In an interview with “Access Hollywood,� Longoria revealed, "They are writing it in." As to the father of the on-screen baby, Eva was coy. She said, "I don't know. Who knows who is going to knock her up on our show!"
