The former DESTINY'S CHILD frontwoman stars as DEENA JONES in the highly anticipated musical - which also features JAMIE FOXX and EDDIE MURPHY - but Paramount Pictures producers reportedly fear the public will be fed up with her by the time it's released in December (06). Knowles originally scheduled to launch her record after the movie hit cinemas, but brought it forward to coincide with her birthday this week (04SEP06) and sparked a blaze of publicity. A studio insider tells the New York Daily News, "Beyonce's over saturation in the marketplace has thrown a major monkey wrench in the Dreamgirls rollout campaign. "It will take away from the anticipation of the Dreamgirls soundtrack. She has left Paramount with not a lot of options for rolling out this film." However, her spokesman ALAN NIEROB insists, "I guarantee you that the publicity campaign for the film is in place, and nothing relating to the publicity for her solo album has affected that campaign."

I like Beyonce and always will but her album is horrible. The beats are erratic. She screams instead of sings and there is only 10 tracks! Her album is going well because people expect it to be great. I expect everyone to be disappointed. She has too much talent to throw it all away. Please Beyonce take some artistic time bfore recording your next album. It is very obvious that this was a two week recording...so sad!

THE ALBUM IS GREAT, GIRL I LOVE IT BECAUSE PEOPLE IN GENERALLY CAN RELATE TO THE SONGS,U DID GO A DIFFERENT DIRECTION BUT IT WAS FOR THE GOOD, GIRL U IS TALENTED AND I'M PRETTY SURE U KNOW IT, U DESERVE EVERYTHING GOOD THAT COME YOUR WAY, OF COURSE PEOPLE GO HATE, BUT KEEP DOING WHAT U DOING, DONT FEED INTO IT BECAUSE THEN IT WILL HURT THEM MORE THEN IT WILL HURT U, I BOUGHT 2 ALBUMS ONE FOR THE CAR, AND ONE FOR THE HOUSE HONEY THE ALBUM IS GREAT, BUT GUESS WHAT I TELL MY MAN THE SAME THING RING THE ALARM I BEING THROUGH THIS SHIT FOR TO LONG AND I BE DAME I SEE ANOTHER CHICK ON HIS ARM, BUT AT THE SAME TIME DONT GET IT F***** UP BECAUSE YOU CAN BE IRREREPLACEABLE. No I'm not that big of a Beyonce a fan but i do admit this album is great!Now i haven't heard "Dangerously In Love" but Im sure it was good too. I highly recommend this album for music lovers everywhere..it's very different than the singles she released in '03..its has alot of great tracks, i.e."Upgrade U" & "Listen"

Jenny you need to get some ears, and stop listening to the trash that is out now. Stop being influence by the media, because slowly but surely they will and they are changing their negative reviews about B'DAy to positive sicne of the over wwhelming success of the album. The tracks are not horrible, its reality. Maybe you can not relate tot hem thats why you view them as horrible. But sorry everyone doesnt have a perfect relationship like you. I am not a fan of Beyonce, but i did go out and support this album after hearing the CD in my girl car. She does not scream on every track, and the screams you hear coincide with her raw emotions to capture the pain or relief of the pain of the song. I must agree with you whenyou said she do have to much talent, and she obivously shows her vision, her creativity and her love for music. Her album doesnt seem rush, it seems as if she went into the studio and had so much fun.

SHE CHALLENGED HERSELF TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENTLY. IT IS NOT HER FAULT THAT ALL MOST FEMALE ARTISTS WANTS TO JUST BEG FOR A MAN. BEYONCE TOOK A DIFFERENT APPROACH AND SAID DAMN THAT!!! YOU ARE REPLACEABLE AND YOU NEED ME TO UPGRADE YOU!! YOU GO B!!MUCH LOVE FOR GIVING WOMEN A SENSE OF SELF RESPECT.
