The lawsuit, which was filed in Hampden County Court, alleges that 50 Cent injured two females when he hopped off the stage and into the crowd, seeking an unknown individual who dosed him with water while he was performing at the Hippodrome in Springfield.
In other news, 50 Cent wants to record a duet with Sir Elton John.
The hip-hop star is a huge fan of the flamboyant singer and has revealed he
was due to collaborate with him shortly after Elton's performance with
Eminem, 50's close friend, at the 2001 Grammy Awards.
The proposed collaboration never took place, but the 'In Da Club' rapper
insists he still as keen as ever to work with Elton.
He said: "Elton has incredible talent. He was meant to come out and record
some stuff with me but it didn't happy."
It seems 50 may get his wish, as Elton is desperate to record a hip-hop
album.
Earlier this week, the 'Rocket Man' singer revealed he wants to collaborate
with a host of rap artists on his latest album.
However, although Elton name-checked a host of top stars he wants to work
with, including Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, he failed to mention 50's
name.
He told America's Rolling Stone magazine: "I want to work with Pharrell,
Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, Kanye and Eminem and see what happens. It may be a
disaster, it may be fantastic but you don't know until you try.
"I want to bring my songs and melodies to hip-hop beats."
Speaking of collaborations, LL Cool J is already working on another new project that will be produced by 50 Cent. "We did six records in three or four days," 50 said Aug. 31 during the MTV Video Music Awards preshow. LL then said the as-yet-untitled album would be his last for longtime label home Def Jam.
"For me, I needed to go and work with somebody who really had my best interests at heart," he said. The artist has released 12 albums for Def Jam; the most recent of which, "Todd Smith," debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200.
