Lindsay dropped from her UK record label
If Lindsay Lohan has aspirations of becoming a singing sensation in the UK, she’s going to have a lot more trouble making that happen now. According to British newspaper the Sun, Lindsay has been dropped from her UK record label, Island Records. An insider told the Sun, “A single was a huge flop over here because Lindsay couldn’t be bothered to get off her bum and promote it. In the end they didn’t even bother releasing the album, called Speak, in Britain. She didn’t bother to come over to the UK to do interviews or make TV appearances to help sell the album. Island have now decided not to do another one with her. Island Records isn’t the only company that’s angry about Lohan’s work ethic - or lack thereof. Last week she was blasted in a letter from Morgan Creek CEO, James G. Robinson. Robinson claimed Lohan had been behaving like a “spoiled child on the set of the Morgan Creek-backed film, Georgia Rule. He threatened the actress with financial and legal repercussions should she continue to slow production. |
