Kate Hudson splits from hubby

With their matching fur-trimmed vests and their long-haired son, they seemed like the perfect neo-hippie couple, but People magazine is reporting that actress Kate Hudson and her husband, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes have separated. Hudson’s rep confirmed the news to People on Monday.

Robinson married Hudson, who is 12 years his junior, on December 31, 2000. Ryder, their son, was born just four years later on January 7, 2004. Kate and Chris had been dodging rumors for months that their marriage was on the rocks as gossip websites reported sightings of Chris out with other women.
