Lyn revealed: "Britney grew up on my living room floor. I still love her to death. Justin and Britney were together 10 or 11 years, and from day one they had that chemistry between them."
Since their split Justin has launched a successful solo career and started dating Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz. Britney married her former dancer Kevin Federline, took a break from singing, had a son, Sean Preston, and is currently expecting her second child.
Lynn admits she is worried about the 'Toxic' singer and hates the constant negative reports claiming her marriage is in trouble.
She added: "Britney is a sweet girl. I just hate what she's going through now."
Earlier this month, Justin Timberlake dissed Britney Spears in the Fashion Rocks magazine, a fall supplement to Vanity Fair.
“I dated Britney half my life, but I don’t know that person anymore. I’m not sure I knew her before. If I was writing an article about her, I would not be able to fight the urge to write every dirty thing about her.�
The slam was a complete 360 from an inteview he gave to GQ magazine, Justin Timberlake confessed to the US version of GQ magazine: "I was in love with her from
the start. I was infatuated with her from the moment I saw her."
Justin - who met Britney when they both appeared on children's TV series the
'Mickey Mouse Club' - has also revealed he felt bitter towards Britney after
they split in 2002.
