Though the public may have come to accept Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a couple, Brad’s parents are still struggling to come to grips with Brad’s new lover. Pitt’s parents, Jane and Bill, never got over Pitt’s break up from Jennifer Aniston and are still quite close to her. There was not a festive spirit in the air when Shiloh, Zahara and Maddox’s new grandparents came for their grandson’s 5th birthday party early this month, reports Australia’s NW.
Jane and Bill came out to California for the August 5 event, intending to stay for a week. “Things were very tense that weekend,� and insider told NW. The tension was ultimately responsible for the Pitt’s decision to leave five days earlier than they had planned.
The trip started off on a bad note when Angelina neglected to say hello to Jane upon her arrival. A source says, “It made Jane mad. She complained loudly, and Brad had to step in to make peace.� Things only got worse when Mrs. Pitt noticed that Maddox’s party included an open bar for the adults. Said another spy, “Brad’s family don’t drink. They were the only ones not drinking and it was uncomfortable for them. To Jane, drinking is unhealthy, so she thought Angelina was inconsiderate.�
The spy told NW, “[Bill and Jane] left with an even worse impression of Angie than before. They think she’s tactless and doesn’t consider other people’s feelings.�
Jane Pitt sounds like a mother in law from hell. Here is a mother with 3 small children...2 of them under the age of 2yrs old. Her mother who is ill is also at the birthday, she's hosting a birthday party full of family, friends and a bunch of 5 yr olds and Jane throws a LOUD tantrum because her presence wasn't acknowledged?!? A good mother in law / grandmother, whatever she is, would have gone to the mother / host and said hello, rolled up her sleeves and stepped in to help out. Not pout, cause trouble and act like another 5 yr old at the party.
She is the Queen u think she will respect an old lady from no where? save lah u. U think she really wants to have those children, stupid u for publicity lah.
she wants to be the next President of USA. (her day dream lah)
If this is true I agree with Nina. Already, Brad's mom cannot get over Jen...AJ knows this. Mom should put more effort to show AJ that she wants to be friends [if she does]. After all, she is older and wiser.
Additionally, if AJ wants to have alcohol at the party [grown-ups were there], it's nothing wrong with that. It's her house. Mom should be glad to see her grandchildren and concentrate on that, NOT come around trying to dictate and change things.
When mom arrived she should have gone and hugged AJ immediately. That could have broken the ice.
However, Mom is used to being 'Brad Pitt's mom' too. She gets a lot of attention and mileage out of it also so she thinks she should be catered to as well, but, it's going to take time. Anyway, there are many cases where the in-laws are outlaws.

Two other tabs have said that Ange is pregnant again -- anyone know anymore info on that? Brad looks worn out -- maybe keeping his main women at bay!
