How is RTA failing when it hasn't been released officially yet or to radio. There has only been one review of it so far that i know of and the guy that did was old. The people that did the petition are beyonce haters not fans.

Her songs are good..especially ring the alarm. It hasn't got much buzz latley but that song is sure to rise. Obviously,she is speaking about a time in her life which is what music is about..expression. you can't expect her to be lovey-dovey and soft spoken all the time.
Still, I understand what you all are saying in the sense that when I saw the Deja Vu video I realized Beyonce was TRYING to be sexy and SASHA-like..in failure. She may be extremely tired is all. I think she should take breaks like Alicia Keyes b/c I feel we are getting sick of her face. She did a solo album..went back to destiny's child..and did a solo album again..and she has a clothing line...and movies..and perfumes. Her face is everywhere and fans are pretty much tired of seeing it. She needs to lay low for awhile before her fire turns into a disaster.

1st of all let me say that I am a Beyonce fan. However,I think her new stuff sounds hideous. She is basically screaming like a caged animal. Not her best work by far. Rumor has it that she recorded this album in 2 weeks and frankly it sounds like it. Some of the tracks were leaked and I heard them this morning and I was so disappointed in Ms. Beyonce. I agree with Jade, sister girl needs to lay low for a minute.

Beyonce is not only extremely beautiful but she is very talented.Honestly, I agree that this new project isn't the most glamorous of her projects. However, this is a new vehicle for Beyonce to modify and evolve her new identity. I truelly believe that she was satisfied with the creation of this project therefore we should atleast give it a try. Too many times we look for perfection when it's the imperfections that truelly make music captivating and exotic. To Beyonce I say 'Let's go get em"

Beyonce is fabulous! Trust and believe that the album is HOTT!!! People are so petty and they hate entirely too much! WHY!!!!!! Is it that she can't evolve as an artist? Everytime this girl does something she is prayed upon by the haters. It is so sad. Bee, do u baby-girl....she is the only girl bringing it right now, the rest are so lame and cannot perform live and have no creativity! I am buying two cd's when it drops! Work-it-out bee!

Everything is twisted I heard that she did a private preview of her new album and the critics and journalist there gave it "two massive thumbs up" now they r saying its getting horrible reviews so I dont know. I can't wait until the album drops tho.!!

Well, I might have to say that I feel a little sorry for her. I know that she went out on a limb and did this album secretly without the help of her father and if this is true, he will not let her live this down and she might not be able to assert her own independence when it comes to her music. However, she wants everything, the Oscars, the Grammys, the lime light, the recognition of someone that has been in the game for over 20 years, etc., right now and it doesn't work like that. You have to pay your dues just like everyone else. There are others, underground artist that are true artist that work hard just as hard as she does and will never have that recognition they seek. I feel that perhaps she is being hasty, a tad bit greedy, jealous and obsessed, understandably, with executing all women that are in the music industry, period. No woman, in any Genre of music can be above her, at all and that just isn't reasonable nor sensable. She really doesn't like, even though I really didn't think it would do this well, that LeToya Luckett's (former DC member that was kicked to the curb because they knew they weren't getting treated fairly-this is fact people) album is doing so well and it is actually #1 in the R&B charts. Two weeks to record this album? I really think she should have taken some serious time. Jay-Z doesn't even rush out with something that quick. I mean, I don't know why all the rush for, she's BEYONCE, the name demands fame, attention, and greatness let alone her body of work. I think that if she feels she lays low for 1 year even 6 months, people will forget her. Impossible. Look at Janet, look at Jlo (even though I can't stand her) and look at Mariah. If you have what it takes, your star will never descend. Also...she's been on top for like, over 5 years and has slayed anyone that might have possibly threatened her title...look at the disbanding of the original DC members, look at how they treated Michelle, look at how Kelly Rowland is also put behind her. They may not want that lime light, but...she sure will not give them a chance to shine and Kelly sounds just like Beyonce, only with a little heavier voice. It's a fact, "Its lonely at the top and the higher you get, the stakes are higher". It is about time for someone else to start having the light shown on them and for her to, of course still work hard, but to realize, baby girl...THERE ARE OTHER FEMALE ARTIST OUT THERE THAT CAN DO WHAT YOU DO AND DO IT JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER. She cannot beat everyone. Michael Jackson had his time when he was undisputed, Whitney has had it, Madonna has had her time, Mariah, and all the heavy hitters in music history. Beyonce, you will always be a star but, you need to lay low and stop being so freaking anxious. Too much of anything, and I mean anything, is not a good thing and we are saturated to the point of suffocation with Beyonce. It will not hurt her status to hold back her sophomore album debut. She has too much going on right now & everyone is feeling it and seeing it. Even Jay-Z took a hiatus. She needs to sit down and listen to him a little more closely, Mrs. Jay-Z's muse.

Why is it hating when you don't like someone's music? We all have different preferences. I love Christina A. but there may people who view this blog that don't like her or her music. I don't think you are a hater. You prefer to listen to Beyonce over Christina. That is your choice and your preference. But by no means are you hating. You want non-Beyonce fans to respect your choices, please respect ours!

I think she's overrated

Leon don't know you but I have to agree with alot of stuff you stated about Beyonce. Nothing wrong with wanting it all and being competitive. In the music industry it almost forces you to be like that. But I feel somewhat sorry for B I would hate for things to come crashing down on her. I really feel like the girl would not be able to deal with real world stuff well. I agree with others, give the album a chance man it's not even out yet. Maybe this is something she needs hell it's time for her to be a woman and take control of her life. Janet did it as well as other female artist's. B's album could be her way of telling her crazy daddy this is my life and enough is enough!

i loved the song deja vu. i think people are so use to her dancing like she did in crazy in love that they can't adjust to the new style she's trying to do. i hope her album does well despite all the negative feedback. and if it doesn't it won't be the first time an artist has not had a good album. mary, mariah, janet and so many other great artist has had not so great albums. they just come back stronger. if her album doesn,t do well just expect ms. beyonce to come back even stronger cuz she is a survior.

First I would like to say that Beyonce is one of the most talented performers of are time! I pitty those who believe everything they read. There are so many rumors surfacing around Beyonce and her new album B'Day! It's sad how many articles i read a day that viciously attack her and create this persona of her being crazy and deranged. I have personally heard every track on the CD and I LIKE IT! Its not her best, but its definitely not horrible! It is a totally different sound (and that's partially what made me love it). My personal favorites on her CD are: Resentment (A emotional ballad, w/ strong vocals), Kitty-kat, and Upgrade( ft. Jay-Z)! My only critism is that she doesnt have that many ballads! I love her and I look foward to seeing what her next single will be!

i am what i would call myself beyonce and SASHA'S biggest fan, i bought B-day yeaterday and i have to say that it is different from the "beyonce" that everyone is used-to mainly b/c it sounds more like SASHA, but we all really need to learn how to give something that is not exactly what you expected a chance, b/c although it was not was what i expected i still LOVE IT, b/c it shows what women go through with there man, maybe it was about jay-z maybe it wasnt, but you cannot expect for her music to always b the same, when you are young you see somethings as being one way, but as you grow up and actually have a man and do grown up things your view changes, she might be BEYONCE but she is still a women, and when all the lights are off and the curtain closes she will always b a women first, so i just advise anyone who is reading this to give ma girl a chance, listen to the NEW BEYONCE with a open mind and you can decide if you like it or not, dont just go by what others have to say make your own choice.....

Okay..As a honest Beyonce' fan Im gonna tell yall what I got out of Bday. So I went to best buy specifically for Beyonce's new Cd and found it without a problem...#1 Ive seen the album cover on tv and all, but its nothin like seeing it in person...she look like a blow up doll with no thoughts,emotions or anything. It was kinda rediculous. But hey its beyonce so i got over that pretty quickly. Anyways i go home pop the album in my stereo and chilled out.. I skipped track number 1 and 5 cause I just wanted to hear the new stuff. I got to the end of the album + the 2 bonus tracks and was like WHAT!!! Yall coulda called me Lil Jon or somebody. The album was kinda a let down. everything was fast and rushed. There is nothing on the album that makes you think or refresh your mind. I liked Upgrade U, kitty kat and irreplaceable. I don't really like the concepts for the songs I just thought her voice was expecially beautiful in those 3 tracks. After listing to the album I did learn some new things about beyonce...Like she's materialistic. In every song she was talking about what she's got, what she could by exc.I think the album is what one should expect for 2 weeks recording. A few ballads would have been really nice. What people fail to realize is that beyonce is not a Mary J,Erykah badu,Lauren Hill,Mariah so expecting that from her will surely lead you to a big let down. She's her own artist in her own category and I think that if her performances were not great we would all be looking at her sideways.
