Beyonce Knowles insists she feels "sick" with jealousy whenever she hears a great track by a rival artist reports Female First.

The Deja Vu beauty says, "When I hear a great new record, especially when it's by someone that I respect and admire, then a part of me is like, 'Why didn't I think of that? Why didn't I make that record?' "It makes you sick but in a way it can be a great thing. It makes you want to go back to the lab and start writing again. Maybe it will inspire you to work a little harder".

Meanwhile the singer keeps her rapper lover JAY-Z keen by whipping out a special super-sexy dress whenever he becomes complacent.

The curvy R&B beauty insists every woman needs to step up her sexiness sometimes to remind her man why he fell for her.

And she is so convinced by the fail-safe technique, she has even written a song about her favorite "freakum dress" on her new album B'DAY.

She says, "Sometimes a woman feels like she needs to remind her man why they are in love with her or fancied her in the first place.

"All women have that freakum dress at the back of their wardrobe and they can just put it on and it will remind them".

In other news, Beyonce Knowles has praised Hips Don't Lie singer Shakira.

"I've been trying to get us together for a year," she told Hit 40 Uk.

"I'm a big fan. Hopefully we can make it happen this year. I think her videos are really sexy and always sound so good."
