Baby number three for Matt Lauer

Matt Lauer is waiting in anticipation, but it’s not for his new co-host Meredith Vieira who joins “Today�? in less than a month. The newsman and his wife of nearly 8 years, former model Annette are expecting their third child.

48-year-old Lauer confirmed the news in an interview about Vieira for the Sunday New York Times magazine in a story about his soon-to-be co-host, Meredith Vieira. About being a father, Matt said, "I was on Today for five years before I had children. And back then the job took up a larger slice of the pie graph of my life than was healthy. When I had kids, that immediately changed. It flipped."

Matt and stay-at-home mom, Annette have two children already, 5-year-old Jack and 2-year-old Romy.
