Simpson to host Teen Choice Awards

The Teen Choice Awards just might be worth watching this year. Jessica Simpson will be hosting the show and her ex-husband, Nick Lachey will likely be attending to promote his new album. Will things get catty? Will Nick make his first public appearance with new girlfriend, Vanessa Minillo? Will Vanessa be at work reporting the event for “Entertainment Tonight�??

The Teen Choice Awards, which are in their eighth year, will air live - unlike the rival MTV Movie Awards - on Fox on August 20. Jessica will share hosting duties with a yet-to-be-named co-host. The singer/actress is also a Teen Choice Awards nominee. She’s up for Choice Movie Breakout performance for The Dukes of Hazzard, Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon and Choice Hottie.
