Nicole Richie faints while shopping

Earth to Nicole Richie: When people say they’re going to shop ‘til they drop, they don’t mean it literally. Unfortunately a little retail therapy proved far from therapeutic for Ms. Richie last Saturday.

Shop-a-holic Richie reportedly took a tumble while browsing at one of the stars’ favorite boutiques, Kitson on trendy Robertson Avenue in Los Angeles. Another Kitson shopper told Life & Style Weekly, “[Nicole] was looking through a rack of clothes when she suddenly fainted and hit the floor. The staff helped her to a chair and offered her something to eat. She shot back, ‘No!’ and mumbled something about it being ‘so hot.’�? Nicole allegedly drank a glass of water and rested for about 20 minutes until she “was steady enough to leave.�?

Though a Kitson rep denies the story, if true it does give validity to the rumor that Richie has an eating disorder. Nicole fought the rumor in a recent Vanity Fair article and even had her doctors go on the record to state that she was attempting to gain weight. In the last few months, Nicole has looked healthier. Let’s hope her fainting was a fluke.

Who WANTS to eat food right after they've fainted anyway?! Refusing a cheeseburger while you're feeling hot and dizzy does NOT mean you have an eating disorder.

so, you think she was in a store with no ac? food in her system would probably put her body in shock anyhow. poor little Ritchie girl.
