Nelly Furtado has revealed she is attracted to women - because everyone is
"inherently bisexual".
The 'Maneater' singer has been studying a book about Chinese medicine which
claims people can find both sexes attractive, and says it has made her
realise she has lesbian tendencies herself.
She revealed in an interview with gay European magazine GUS: "I'm reading a
book about Chinese medicine which claims all people are inherently bisexual
to balance their energies. It makes so much sense. As humans we have both
male and female energies. I believe Kurt Cobain's statement that, in the
end, everyone is gay. Everyone should have the freedom to experiment. I
believe sexual experimentation is part of human history."
Earlier this year, Furtado confessed she is sex mad and proud of it.
The pop star revealed that she wanted her new album 'Loose' to be dirtier
and sexier than her previous records, to show her own sexual nature.
She said at the time: "This album is really sexually assertive in the way
TLC used to be. I'm admitting to all my fans that I am a woman and I love to
have sex."
Meanwhile, Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous" featuring Timbaland holds firm atop the Billboard Hot 100 for a fourth week. The cut also leads the Pop 100 for a fourth frame but loses its No. 1 grip on the Hot Digital Songs chart, where Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" rises 2-1.
