Kylie hopes a revolutionary operation can make her dream come true reports news.com. au
Kylie, who describes Martinez as "amazing" and credits him with helping pull her through her cancer fight, says that while she is not desperate to marry, she wants babies.
"I would love some children," she says. "We'll have to wait and see."
Kylie was warned that chemotherapy would harm her chances of a natural pregnancy. So some of her ovaries were taken out and frozen to be re-implanted over the next few years in the hope they will release eggs.
The technique has led to two successful pregnancies in only a handful of trials.
Kylie, 38, says Martinez and his family, along with her mother, Carol, were her "strength" and "saviours".
"(They) kept me strong, they kept me going," Kylie says.
"It's such a personal journey, even though you need the people all
around you. I would just quietly go to my bedroom and just have 20 minutes
to myself and try and deal with everything. I really felt bad for everyone
around me.
"I'm like, 'Oh, my God. My poor parents'. It's like a bomb has been
dropped."
Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer last April but has now been given the
all clear. She made the difficult decision to announce her diagnosis, and to
battle the illness publicly.
She said: "I had one day's grace where I knew and went for a walk down to
the beach with my brother and my boyfriend and I would have been in a total
daze. And then the next day we made the announcement and I was virtually a
prisoner in the house. I was completely thrown into another world.
"The days you didn't see me or no one saw me was the days that I simply
couldn't get up or could not do anything.
"To walk to the corner store was a great. I did it."
However, the 38-year-old singer has a strong message for cancer sufferers:
"You can get through it. You Can."
Kylie says she wants to return to acting – in a stage musical.
"More than ever, I realise that's what I do, what inspires me. More than ever, I need to be on stage," she says.
"It seems most people come out the other end feeling more like themselves than ever. I'm like, `Yeah, put diamonds on . . . I'll have a glass of wine'."
Kylie now plans to resume her 'Showgirl' world tour and the end of this year
in Australia. Kylie also gave details on her new album .
"I've written lyrics about the past year, but it's not depressing. It's not, you know, woe is me, nothing like that. But just in my way, I've said what I wanted to say ... all to a disco beat."

Tonight I saw your interview & could to relate to it in so many ways. My mum was diagnosed with malenonma last year & only lived for a couple of months & died at 60. Shortly after my sister was diagnosed with a malemnoma, she is doing ok. But after having 2 people soo close to death it makes you think how important life is. I am the same age as you Kylie & have not had a long term boyfriend & have felt really scared re: my sisters & mothers results. My mum is dead, but my sister is doing well & felt very scared upon receiving info from the media in regards to you. You are doing sooo well & I applaud you. Congratulations to have such a pull on people. You are a wonderful person.
