Keira, 21, was asked to pick a track by Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley — and chose Bassey’s 1964 hit Goldfinger.
She said: “This is my PMT song! I’ve got a PMT playlist and it’s the first and last.
“A bit of Aretha Franklin — I turn into a camp man!
“A bit of Liza Minnelli as well. I think it’s really important.
In other news, Knightley blasted claims she is anorexic.
The British star sparked concerns about her weight after turning up at the
London premiere of new movie 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' on
Monday night (03.07.06) looking extremely thin.
The morning after (04.07.06), the 21-year-old actress was quick to quash
rumours she is suffering from an eating disorder, saying: "Last night people
said to me, 'How does it feel to be called anorexic?'.
"I'm not saying there aren't people in the film industry that suffer from
it, because I am sure that there are, but I'm quite sure I don't."
However, Keira - who reprises her role as damsel-in-distress Elizabeth Swann
in the swashbuckling sequel - admits the eating disorder runs in her family.
She said: "I've got a lot of experience with anorexia - my grandmother and
great-grandmother suffered from it, and I had a lot of friends at school who
suffered from it. I know it's not something to be taken lightly and I
don't."
At the premiere on Monday night Keira had already tried to shrug off eating
disorder claims.
She said: "Whatever people say about my weight they are all wrong, but
Hollywood is all about the way you look, and I don't think that's a healthy
thing for anyone."
