Joining “Grey’s�? and “24�? in the drama category are “House,�? “The Sopranos�? and “The West Wing.�? Noticeably absent from the list was “Lost,�? which won in the category last year. Up for Best Comedy are “Arrested Development,�? “Curb Your Enthusiasm,�? The Office,�? “Scrubs,�? and “Two and a Half Men.�?

There’s going to be a pity party on Wisteria Lane tonight. “Desperate Housewives�? was passed over in the comedy category and none of the stars were recognized, though last year three of the five lead actresses on the show were nominated in the Best Lead Actress in a Comedy category. Felicity Huffman ended up taking home the award last September.
