The Teen Choice Awards keep getting juicier. The show became must-watch when it cast Jessica Simpson as a co-host. Her ex-husband, Nick Lachey is nominated for an awards and so is Lachey’s new girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo. Any viewers will be on the edge of their seats hoping for a little drama to come out of this awkward threesome. And adding to the night’s excitement, Fox has confirmed Kevin Federline as a performer.

Federline will close the show with a rendition of his new single “Lose Control.� He told USA Today that those who tune in will be “shocked" and "surprised" by his performance, which will air live on August 20. Kevin says he will be backed by "dancers and performers who are…the best at what they do.� As a former back up dancer himself, Federline probably knows what he’s talking about.

Kevin is hoping that his wife Britney Spears will be able to accompany him to the show. "This is my first big event, and I need her support and I want her support,� he said. “If she's feeling under the weather because of the baby, obviously she won't be able to be there. But she'll want to be there for me."
