No matter where you go, it’s impossible to escape Britney Spears gossip. But let’s face it, you wouldn’t want to escape it if you could. Let’s get on with the latest from Camp Spears.

Everyone’s favorite supermarket tabloid, the National Enquirer, is reporting that Britney’s husband Kevin Federline is trying to convince her to do a Playboy photoshoot. Kevin had visited the Playboy mansion and one of Hugh Hefner’s playmates proposed the idea to him. Kevin then told Hef that Britney was "really into doing nude layouts." When he came home, he tried to get Brit to go along with the idea, but his furious wife insisted that it would never happen. According to the Enquirer, “Kevin whined that he'd pretty much guaranteed to deliver a naked, pregnant wife.� His whining didn’t work. There will be no Britney Playboy shoots any time soon.

As if her husband’s playboy plan wasn’t enough to put Spears in a bad mood, she is reportedly dealing with a rough second pregnancy. In Touch Weekly claims that Britney went into false labor on July 15. “Britney started cramping. She had a real scare,� a “family insider� said. After meeting with her doctor, Britney discovered “she wasn't eating enough vegetables,� a friend told In Touch. “After indulging in junk food during her first two trimesters, she hired a nutritionist to help her follow a well-balanced diet.�

With all the drama in her life, it’s no wonder that Britney doesn’t have the patience to be a sweetheart to everyone. But her former pool worker is claiming that the pop star is a downright bitch. The employee, Jack Lalane, told In Touch about one particularly nasty encounter he had with Britney. “I was hanging out a little bit. She came out screaming at Kevin for lying around, then looked at me like I was to blame,� said Lalane. He claims the next day he was fired. “She wants Kevin on a leash. She fires everybody. I figured, ‘Why not me?’ I just didn’t expect her to be so mean…It’s a revolving door there. She’s not the nice person everyone thinks she is,� Lalane confessed.
