Sources for Friedman claim that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes offered a photo shoot of Suri to Wire Image. Wire Image then shopped the pictures to the various celebrity magazines. Unfortunately for Tom and Katie, their baby wasn’t as desirable as Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, who brought in $4 million for her pictures. The highest bid on Suri’s photographs was $3 million.

Cruise’s camp turned down the “paltry�? $3 million offer and then ended the auction. The pictures have not been offered again. Friedman suspects that the Church of Scientology would also have profited from sales of Suri’s pictures as they often take 10% of their celebrity followers’ paychecks.
