Screech wants you to save his house

Dustin Diamond is lucky that everyone loves an underdog. Because of this fact, his current scheme just might work. The comedian, best known for playing the lovable dork Screech on "Saved by the Bell," is facing a foreclosure on his home in Wisconsin, but is hoping to public might help to get him out of this jam.

In order to fund his cause, Diamond has decided to sell t-shirts that proclaim, "I paid $15.00 to save Screeech's house." (he had to add a third “e� to Screech in order to avoid copyright issues.) The shirts are available on his website, http://www.getdshirts.com and cost $15 or $20 with an autograph.

Last week Dustin appeared on the Howard Stern show in order to explain his plight. He claims that since he has bad credit, he was unable to get a home loan and had to purchase his house in a non-traditional way - via land contract. When the land that his home is on went up in value, he was told to come up with the remaining $250,000 property cost or get out. You can read his full story on his website.
