Pete Doherty has checked himself into drug rehabilitation

Pete Doherty has reportedly checked himself into drug rehabilitation clinic
in Portugal.
The troubled rocker - who was detained in Barcelona airport last week for
allegedly taking heroin during a flight - has reportedly flown out to a
detox clinic in a renewed attempt to quit his addiction.

According to NME.com, the Babyshambles frontman is planning to remain in the
clinic for several weeks, where he will be fitted with a "opiate suppressing
implant".
The 27-year-old singer, who previously dated Kate Moss, has attempted to
unsuccessfully kick his drug habit several times in the past but is
reportedly determined to stick it out this time.
A source told NME.com: "The decision to undergo rehab was Doherty's own, and
he organized and funded the trip without any outside pressure."
