Oprah crashes Tulsa weddings

Oprah Winfrey has become a wedding crasher. The talk show host spent her weekend dropping in on two wedding receptions in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the next season of her show. The lucky couples were Morgan and Bethany Francis and Ben and Heather Klein

Ben Klein’s sister said, “When we were getting ready, we heard that Oprah was in town buying wedding gifts…We were all joking that she should come to the wedding…She came in wearing her pink dress and was all hidden under her hat. I knew it was her.�?

Both couples received dishes from the department store, Dillards. She had purchased the gifts earlier at Tulsa’s Promenade Mall, sparking a frenzy among local shoppers. Mall security had gawkers keep a distance of 50 feet from Winfrey as she browsed the couples’ registries.

Oprah’s wedding visits, which lasted about 10 minutes each, will air in an September episode of her show.
