Eva Longoria will star in Jessica Simpson's new video

Jessica Simpson may have lost one of her gal pals after splitting with Nick Lachey (Lachey’s latest love interest Vanessa Minnillo was said to have been close with Simpson), but she’s found a new one to replace her. Jessica and Eva Longoria have been hanging out more and more lately and Eva will even be starring in Jessica’s next video.

Longoria and Simpson met through their shared hairstylist and friend, Ken Paves. Simpson is rarely seen without Paves by her side. It will be Eva, however, sharing the screen with Jessica in the video for her new single "Public Affair."

Longoria described the video in an interview with People magazine at the launch party for the T-Mobile Sidekick 3. "We haven't shot it yet,�? said Eva. “I just know I have to show up Friday somewhere. We're going to be roller-skating and I know there's an '80s theme." Eat your heart out, Nick.
