Katie Holmes' sex scene in 'Thank You For Smoking' will be shown

Katie Holmes' sex scene in 'Thank You For Smoking' will be shown in
cinemas - despite claims husband Tom Cruise wanted them removed.
In the film the former 'Dawson's Creek' star plays an investigative reporter
who ends up in bed with tobacco lobbyist Aaron Eckhart.
Director Jason Reitman said: "It's humorous humping! It's Kate and Aaron
gyrating back and forth

."
At the movie's premiere at the Sundance Festival the sex scene was cut.
However, is was included in the version shown at last year's Toronto Film
Festival (05).
A spokeswoman for Fox Searchlight, who produced the movie, said: "It has
never been altered.
"It will be released with that scene. We don't know what happened, but we're
looking into it."
When Reitman was asked about the missing sequence during a press conference,
he joked that it had been lost in a "technical glitch" during a reel change.
However, when asked the same question at another screening, Reitman said:
"If you want to see a sex scene with Katie Holmes, rent 'The Gift'" - a
reference to the 2000 film in which the mum-of-one appears topless.
