Jessica Simpson 'A Public Affair'

Jessica Simpson has denied rumours her latest song is about her divorce from Nick Lachey.

It has been claimed the star's upcoming single, 'A Public Affair'- which features lyrics 'All the girls stepping out for a public affair / All night, let's rock cause the party don't stop / You know the cameras come out for a public affair'- has been penned about her estranged husband.

However, the 'Dukes of Hazzard' actress insists the song is about having fun with her girlfriends.

Her spokesman said: "Everything she does is a public affair but this is about having fun."

The video for the single - which is the first from her upcoming album, 'And The Band Played On' - has been filmed by 'X-Men: The Last Stand' director Brett Ratner.

The promo features blonde Jessica roller-skating and having fun with a bunch of girlfriends.

'And The Band Played On' is out in August.

Meanwhile, according to hindustantimes Jessica Simpson the serious actress, took advantage of her recent location shoot in New Mexico to rid her body of toxins.

Simpson took friends along to make sure that she would not get back to alcohol. Simpson wanted to focus on getting back her health while shooting the movie Employee of the Month, Contactmusic.com reported.

She says: "I didn't drink for, like, three months. My friends and I were like, 'OK, we're out of LA, away from everything. Let's cleanse ourselves from boys and sidekicks (personal organisers) and email.' We worked out all the time and drank so much green tea. I'm definitely a lightweight now."

In other Jessica Simpson News, Jessica is jealous of her sister Ashlee's toned body and insists she has no idea how she can look so good when she eats so many sweets.

Although she admires her sister's figure, Jessica claims there is no sibling rivalry between the two..

She explains, "Her body is so sick (hot) right now! She's like this little surf girl with the most perfect boobs and the skinniest legs."

"I have no idea how she looks so good. She's addicted to sugar!"
