Jennifer Lopez fertility surgery?
Pop diva, Jennifer Lopez has undergone fertility surgery in a last-ditch effort to have a baby with singer-husband MARC ANTHONY, a source has told The ENQUIRER exclusively. The 36-year-old actress had outpatient laparoscopic surgery last month at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to the source. "The procedure involved the introduction of a laparoscope into J.Lo's abdomen through a small hole near the belly button, for the purpose of taking a close look at the ovaries, fallopian tubes and other organs for adhesions or possible malformations," an insider told The ENQUIRER. During the four-hour procedure J.Lo's doctors injected a dye into her fallopian tubes, said the source. "With the aid of the dye, the doctors did find a small blockage in one tube. Fortunately, as often happens during the dye procedure, the pressure-injected material itself appeared to open up the blocked tube. Just last week, the singer/ actress, denied rumours that she is pregnant with husband Marc Anthony, revealing that she has been unsuccessfully trying for a baby for months now. JENNIFER LOPEZ was speaking at the Women In Film Crystal Awards when she commented: "The rumours about me being pregnant are always strong and always wrong!" She also revealed that there were doubts about her appearance as Sue Ellen in an adaptation of hit TV show Dallas. She said that she had spoken to John Travolta, rumoured to be playing JR Ewing, about her doubts. "He asked me if I was going to take the role of Sue Ellen and I said 'I think so. But nothing's set in stone'. In other news, JENNIFER LOPEZ is in the studio again, working on a follow-up album to her fourth album, "Rebirth," |
