We’re hoping it ain’t no lie. Could Justin Timberlake really have told Cameron Diaz “Bye Bye Bye�? That’s what celebrity gossip Janet Charlton is reporting on her website. Charlton claims news of the break-up hasn’t been circulated because both Justin and Cameron are trying to keep it quiet.

Timberlake allegedly broke things off with Diaz because he is hoping to enjoy the single life while he tours to promote his upcoming album. The split was aggravated by a recent trip Justin took with his pals. A source for Charlton said, "A few weeks back, Justin and his buddies took off for a few days in Las Vegas and Cameron went chasing after him. She was just too clingy."

In the end, it seems the age gap was just too big for Cam and Justin’s relationship to survive. As one source put it, "They were a great, well matched couple in many ways but Cameron (at 33) is ready to settle down and wants a commitment, even though she might not admit it. Justin is only 24 and he's been with Cameron for three years. He hasn't had a chance to sow his wild oats yet."
