From the beginning, she was labeled Britney's biggest competitor. CHRISTINA AGUILERA is touring America's jazz clubs to promote her new album under the pseudonym Baby Jane.

The sexy singer has ditched her pop and R&B roots for a jazzy sound on her new CD and wants to honour that world by performing live in some of America's smallest venues.

She said: "We're gonna go around to small little jazz and blues clubs around the country, which is the setting and tone of what this album is really inspired by."

Justin Timberlake

Britney's former boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. Justin Timberlake has penciled in a Sept. 12 North American release date for his second solo album, "FutureSex/LoveSounds." The Jive set will be preceded by the single "SexyBack," which will be delivered July 7 to U.S. radio outlets. The track was co-written and co-produced by Timberlake with Timbaland and Nate Hills reports Billboard.

As for the new album, additional production was supplied by Rick Rubin and JAWBreakers, Timberlake's behind-the-boards duo with the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am.

Z-100 Program Director Romeo told the New York Post he knew the song would polarize the station's audience, but it was still one of his five most requested songs last week. Half the station's callers said they hated the song, said Romeo, who interviewed the heiress-singer last week.
