Pete Doherty, Phlebotomist?

In response to the latest uproar caused by pictures published by The Sun depicting Doherty allegedly shooting up an unconscious girl lying on his kitchen floor, the Babyshambles singer made the following public statement, “Firstly, the photos are stolen from my flat so...upsetting and personally catastrophic...how rude, secondly it's a staged shot and what a f--king liberty to suggest I'd bang up a sleeping lass. Darkness.�

He also apparently told the police during questioning that he was not injecting a substance into 21 year-old Laura McEvroy, but rather was drawing her blood to use as paint. You know, as in art.

Oh Pete, we take it all back, you’re not a sick, twisted, demented psychopath after all.
