Paris Hilton paid lots of money to wave.

Paris Hilton was paid $200,000 for turning up to a charity event.
The hotel heiress collected the outrageous fee for simply showing her face and waving to fans in Cannes on Saturday (20.05.06).
The 'House Of wax' star is quoted in America's New York Post newspaper as saying: "All I had to do was wave like the Queen of England."
It was reported that the socialite was paid a staggering $1million for a similar event in Vienna a few weeks ago.

Hilton is said to be fuming that she wasn't invited to the Vanity Fair Party at Cannes' Hotel du Cap at the weekend.

In other news, National Ledger is reporting that former USC quarterback Matt Leinart has taken advice from his new NFL team the Arizona Cardinals to be careful with the paparazzi pictures and reportedly he was not to be snapped with Paris Hilton.

A report from Ted Casablanca details that he at last has dumped Paris.

Looks like Matt Leinart's days with Paris H. are done, duh. He's rumored to have a new babe in Arizona, but don't expect this one to last long, either.

"The current girlfriend is just to show that Matt wasn't serious about Paris. He's dating around, playing the field,"

Meanwhile, the socialite has been savaged in a new song.
American comedian Mark Manne launched into a bitter tirade during a rendition of his ballad, 'Everything That is Wrong with America Today (aka The Paris Hilton Song)', at The Laugh Factory in New York.
He sang: "Paris, I want to hit you in the face with a bat/Because you pampered your dog, then got rid of her when she got fat.
He continued: "Paris Hilton, why do I even know your name? Is it the short skirts? No! 'The Simple Life'? No! It's cause you'll have sex with anything.
"You're so mean, all bathed in green, an amateur porno queen/Go away, just go away from here, go away."

Speaking of music, celebutante Paris Hilton has delayed her album until at least September so that Hilton can include a cover of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" on the CD.

"It's just Paris's latest idea and because she shares a label with Gnarls, she thinks that it will all be a piece of cake," an unnamed source told The Daily Star. "The chances of it happening are minute, but everything has to go on pause again while it's all discussed...It keeps nearly getting finished and then something else happens."
