MTV’s “Summer Sizzle ‘06�

MTV: Music Television today announced that it will be taking its annual summer programming back to Cali, as it hits up the sunny shores of San Diego. MTV’s “Summer Sizzle ‘06� kicks off with “Spankin’ New Sounds of Summer Music Week� from May 29th through June 2nd live during “Total Request Live� at 3:30pm ET/PT from the Wave House in San Diego. Set to perform live are Pink, T.I., Chamillionaire, Sean Paul, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, Christina Milian and Young Jeezy with appearances by Jack Black, Ashlee Simpson, Nicole Richie, Panic at the Disco, Lauren Conrad, Cheyenne and more.

“MTV’s Summer Sizzle ‘06� will continue to air from the Wave House the week of June 5th through June 9th and showcase exclusive video premieres, more celebrity guest appearances and performances by some of the hottest stars in music.

Fans will get to view all exclusive programming on-air, on-line and on the go as the “Summer Sizzle� goes multiplatform. “Spankin' New Sounds of Summer Music Week� on MTV.com and Overdrive will feature live performances highlights, photo flipbooks, and other exclusive content from Spankin' New artists. MTV Mobile will allow fans to download summer sizzle ringtones and wallpapers and more.
