It seems like every few days, Katie Homes is spotted at some sort of event for her fiancé, Tom Cruise’s children. Holmes is often photographed at the kids’ - Connor and Isabella - sports games. Their mother, Nicole Kidman, however, has not been pictured with the children for some time. According to the National Enquirer, this is not by Nicole’s choice.

A source close to Kidman and her fiancé, Keith Urban told the Enquirer, "Tension has been building up for a long time, and now with both of their respective summer weddings inching closer, it's ready to boil over. I think Nicole is livid with Katie for monopolizing her children. She feels like she doesn't get enough time with Bella and Connor as it is. Nicole is fiercely protective and she loathes the fact that Katie is taking on the role of mother to them. To Nicole it feels like Katie is not so subtly nudging her out of the picture."

Though there’s been no word as to what the children think of their mother’s fiancé, Tom recently revealed that Isabella is quite fond of Katie. He told Good Housekeeping that his daughter said of Holmes, “Don't let this one go. She's the one."
