Katie Holmes scores big in pre-nup

There’s a reason that Katie, or should we say Kate, Holmes was so happy at the Los Angeles premiere of Mission: Impossible III last night. Sure, new motherhood is blissful, but Katie was mostly relieved because the long battle between her parents and fiancé, Tom Cruise is finally blowing over.

According to a source for Britain’s Daily Mail, Cruise and Holmes have finally settled on a pre-nuptial agreement, so Katie may soon get her walk down the aisle. A source for the Mail says that Katie and Suri will get $15 million regardless of the success of her relationship with Tom. If they should divorce, Katie will receive $26 million.

Katie’s father Martin is a divorce lawyer and oversaw the agreement. A source for the Daily Mail said, "Katie's family have always been very skeptical about this romance. But now this deal has been sorted out they are at least relieved that Katie and her baby will be financially secure for life, even if she doesn't marry Tom. Tom has also made clear to Katie's parents that he was happy to give her a chunk of his money because he feels sincere in his love for her. His attitude showed that he does love their daughter - even if they still have issues about the way she has changed since meeting him."
