Does Tom wear heels?
We didn’t know pregnancy could make you shrink. Or is it new fatherhood that makes you taller? Either way, something fishy was going on at the Mission: Impossible: III premiere last Thursday in Los Angeles. Katie Holmes made her first post-pregnancy appearance at the event and, though she used to tower over her fiancé, Tom Cruise, the couple “were…exactly the same height� that night, says the New York Daily News. Pictures from the evening prove their newly shared stature. NYDN says that Holmes wore over 3 inch heels to the premiere. As she normally measures up at between 5’8� or 5’9�, Katie was likely hitting the 6 feet mark on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is said to be 5’7�. Could Holmes’s leading man have been wearing lifts? Manhattan podiatrist Rock Positano weighed in on the mystery for NYDN, "There's a lot of ways you can camouflage lifts.� He suspected that Tom’s long pants were covering the height of his shoes’ heels. “If the pants are all the way down to the ankle, you really can't see how much heel the person has,� Positano said. Cruise’s rep denied that he was wearing lifts in his shoes on Thursday. "He had normal shoes on," the spokesman said.

He's a shorter little dude. He wears 2 inch heels (jeans over them) "and" has specially made 2 inch inserts made to put into his shoes. Wow- 4 inches over night. From what I understand, he really has a complex about it. He probably got his tips from Sylvester Stallone, you know, co-stars shorter than you, different camera angels to make you look taller, all this sort of thing. My question is why does he always hook-up with statue type females that make him look like a little boy? Paula Abdul or somebody would make him look soooo much taller.
