Britney Spears to rap on new album?

Pop tart, Britney Spears' has decided on a new direction for her next record reports Sky News

Spears has teamed up with Destiny's Child producer Jonathan "JR" Rotem to develop a new rap sound.

He told the San Francisco Gate paper: "She literally can't go anywhere without her privacy being invaded. Everybody is trying to get information. So the record we wrote, it addresses the 'who do you trust' kind of thing.

"Not rap rap, but talk rap. It's definitely Britney, but the next level."

JR also reassured Britney fans that, despite announcing she's expecting her second baby, Brit will be balancing music and motherhood:

"She's been a mother and she'll still be doing that, but she's very much into her music."

The Toxic star, who on Tuesday night (09MAY06) announced she is pregnant with her second child with husband Kevin Federline, claims her singing and dancing has a positive effect on son Sean Preston reports FemaleFirst UK.

"I genuinely love to sing and dance. When I get in a creative mood, I can't shut up. It's the craziest thing.

"At one point I was thinking of being a home mom, but when my son sees me dance he lights up. Then I know what I'm supposed to be doing - if Mom's happy, baby's happy!

"I've been meeting with different people to work on the album and looking at different (movie) scripts.

But I've mainly been concentrating on my son," says Spears
