Ashlee's trying to steal Jessica's look - and her career!

When Ashlee Simpson first came onto the music scene, she was the first to insist that her style was completely different from her sister Jessica’s. She even emphasized their differences by dyeing her hair a dramatic shade of black. But two years later it seems Ashlee’s attempting to get rid of those differences - and steal Jessica’s fame while she’s at it.

A source for Star magazine said, "There's been a lifelong rivalry [between Ashlee and Jessica]. You've got two driven young women, both clamoring for attention…I think [Ashlee] feels her parents, especially her dad, Joe, have always favored Jessica, and she's sick of it."

Perhaps in an attempt to make her look more marketable, Ashlee has dyed her hair blonde again and removed the bump from her nose. She’s also considering another means of looking more like Jessica - breast implants. The source said, "[Ashlee would] love to have a pair of 'sit up and take notice' breasts, which is what Jess has."

But the younger Simpson isn’t just going after her sister’s style - she wants her career as well. "Ashlee would love to star in movies like her sister, the source claims. Ash also “brags constantly about how she's a natural-born musician and Jess isn't. She's the first to let you know she's more talented!"
