Angels and Demons is set to get the movie treatment
The Da Vinci Code movie took $224m around the world in its first weekend, despite poor reviews and controversy over its religious subject reports BBC news. Columbia Pictures, the studio behind the film, hopes an adaptation of Angels and Demons will have the same effect. The novel again features Robert Langdon, played by Tom Hanks in the film, The Da Vinci Code . In "Angels," Langdon's character tries to solve a murder and unravel a plot by an ancient group, the Illuminati, to blow up the Vatican during a papal conclave. Actor Tom Hanks and director Ron Howard have not yet signed up to resume their roles reports Reuters
His previous work includes A Beautiful Mind, for which he won an Oscar, Cinderella Man and Batman and Robin, which starred George Clooney, Variety on-line reported.

To me that's funny, because Angels and Demons is the Prequel to the Da Vinci Code!
