Spring marks a very important time in Hollywood and beyond: engagement season. No true romantic can resist the urge to get down on one knee once the scent of lilac wafts through a gentle breeze. The latest celebrity to fall victim to the appeal of spring love is Tobey Maguire. The Spider Man star is said to have proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Meyer.

Page Six reports that Maguire popped the question to Meyer over the weekend with a “big� Tiffany engagement ring. Jennifer has been by Tobey’s side since they first started dating three years ago. Though Jen is not a big name herself, she’s certainly no stranger to the Hollywood scene. Her father is Universal president, Ron Meyer. At least Tobey knows she’s not after his money.
