The depths of Pete Doherty’s depravity have yet again set the standard for new lows. Just days after being released on bail for drug related charges, shocking photos were published by The Sun of Doherty injecting a young female fan who lay unconscious on his kitchen floor with what one can only assume is heroin, as well as a photo of Doherty shooting up himself.

"Officers from the Specialist Crime Directorate are investigating the drug allegations made in today's Sun newspaper," a police spokeswoman said.

At this point, it would not be surprising given the ever-increasing string of Doherty’s arrests if the British police have established a new department devoted strictly to the junkie Babyshambles singer.

Some lingering questions remain following these outrageous photos, one, is Kate Moss jealous that her on again-off again boyfriend has been caught on film tenderly shooting up another woman with a deadly drug? And more importantly, Pete, why in the world are you letting people take pictures of you doing stuff like this? Didn’t you learn your lesson after one of your buddies videotaped Kate snorting up rails of cocaine? Seriously, dude, time to find some new friends.
