Nick Lachey made headlines with his recent revealing interview with Rolling Stone. Though Nick claims in the article that he still loves Jessica Simpson and that he would “marry her all over again,�? Jessica was infuriated about the story - perhaps because Nick said he wasn’t sure if the blonde bombshell had cheated on him.

A source for Us Weekly says that Jessica felt the interview was a betrayal. "They promised each other they wouldn't kiss-and-tell," the insider said. Simpson was so distressed by Nick’s story that she cried uncontrollably, "barely able to breathe," said a Life & Style Weekly source. ""She didn't think he would do that…She was devastated, heartbroken," another friend told People magazine.

L&S claims that Nick made a heart-to-heart phone call to Jessica after the story came out. He decided to make the call “out of respect,�? a source told the tabloid. "He felt bad that she was upset,�? a friend told People. “[But] Nick didn't apologize, because the things he said only demonstrate that he loves her."

Us Weekly, meanwhile, claims that Nick is very worried about Jessica. "When you see someone pretending to be happy, but you know they aren't really happy, you get concerned. He can't help but worry about her," one of Nick’s friends said.

The article didn’t just upset Jessica. Her rumored fling, Adam Levine of Maroon 5 was also disturbed by it. A friend of Adam’s told L&S, “He was like, Is Nick crazy? Adam told Jess, ‘Nick will never take responsibility. He’ll blame [your father]. He’ll blame you. He’ll blame Newlyweds, the media, whatever. But he’ll never admit that he had anything to do with the marriage failing.’�?
