Matt LeBlanc has a lot more in common with his famous “Friends� character, Joey Tribbiani, than we ever knew. It looks like both of these guys have a problem staying faithful. Just days after announcing his split from wife of three years, Melissa McKnight, People magazine has learned that LeBlanc is currently dating his “Joey� co-star, Andrea Anders.
According to Melissa’s friend, Kelly Phillips, LeBlanc left McKnight in January to move in to his own apartment. "It was very sudden. She was absolutely blindsided by what transpired," Phillips told People. Then in March, Melissa learned of Matt’s affair when she accused him of seeing someone else and he agreed.
The magazine reports, “friends say…Melissa hoped for a reconciliation – and was stunned when, on March 30, an attorney for her husband called with the news that LeBlanc was about to file for divorce.� Another McKnight insider said, "She wanted to do counseling or therapy. But Matt just didn’t want to work it out."
Matt’s relationship with Andrea is likely the reason for his unwillingness to try to reconcile with Melissa (with whom he has a 2-year-old daughter, Marina). The actor proved he certainly doesn’t hold their relationship sacred when he recently brought Anders to the home he had shared with McKnight.
