Kenzie's not pregnant, says Chad

Many gossip mongers have been suspecting that Chad Michael Murray and Kenzie Dalton were going to be having a shotgun wedding. Considering that Dalton is just 18-years-old and Murray only recently split from his first wife, “One Tree Hill�? co-star, Sophia Bush, it seemed only natural to suspect that the bride-to-be might have a bun in the oven. But People magazine is reporting that Kenzie is not pregnant.

When Chad was questioned about the possibility of pregnancy being the reason for their quick engagement - they’ve been dating for only four months - he told People, "Definitely not."

Though you probably shouldn’t ever believe anything an actor says, Murray claims to be quite smitten with Dalton - a high school senior in Wilmington, N.C. where “OTH�? is filmed. He said of his love for Kenzie, "Imagine you are walking along and you trip over something and you turn around and find that it is a huge diamond. You would pick it up and do everything in your power to take care of that diamond because it might take care of you for the rest of your life." He went on to say that he hopes “to be 80 years old and to have been married [to Kenzie] for 50 years and still be soooo in love."

Dalton’s mother confirmed to people that Kenzie and Chad are “crazy for one another.�? It certainly looks that way if the engagement ring says anything about Murray’s commitment. He bought Dalton a oval-cut diamond ring worth from $25,000 to $35,000.
