Jessica's vicious little puppy

Jessica Simpson’s adorable maltipoo pup, Daisy isn’t as harmless as she looks. The fuzzy little rascal - named for Jessica’s role in The Dukes of Hazzard - recently gave Jess quite a bite.

According to the National Enquirer, Daisy bit her master so mercilessly that Jessica required seven stitches. "It was a clean gash to the left eye, and there was a bit of blood, but luckily it was quickly fixed. It was a pure accident when Daisy's claw caught Jessica above the eye," a source told the tabloid. The injury occurred while Simpson was in New Mexico filming Employee of the Month.

But don’t fret too much for the blonde bombshell: she came out of her hospital visit feeling just fine. "Jessica was in good spirits and more worried about how the scar might affect filming than anything else," said the source. Jessica’s rep denied the intensity of the incident to the New York Daily News. "[She] did have a scratch, but did not have seven stitches," he said.
