Jessica Simpson has met with film bosses to discuss starring in the new
'Dallas' movie.
The blonde star is wanted by producers to play Lucy Ewing in the big screen
adaptation of the classic 80s soap.
She told MTV: "That would be an honour for me. I'm a Texas girl, so you can'
t go wrong there. But you know, however it works out, I'm just going with
the flow. One day at a time."
A galaxy of stars are being lined up for roles in the highly anticipated
film.
Jennifer Lopez has been hotly-tipped to play Sue Ellen Ewing, the adulterous
wife of oil magnate J.R. Ewing, in the movie, while John Travolta, Shirley
MacLaine and Lindsay Lohan have all been linked to the project.
Meanwhile, Jessica is set to star in a movie remake of 'Baywatch'.
The actress will reportedly play a sexy lifeguard in the film version of the
hit 90s show, which turned Pamela Anderson into a star.
What is up with Jessica Simpson wanting to be in all these movies that were once TV shows? First, it was the part of "Daisy" in the big movie version of "THE DUKES OF HAZZARD". Then, she's going to do "BAYWATCH". Now, she wants the part of Lucy Ewing in "DALLAS"? What's next? The part of "Blair" in the big movie version of "THE FACTS OF LIFE"?
