Jennifer Lopez is being sued by a TV writer who claims she and UPN lifted his idea for a series based on his move from Brooklyn to Miami and set against the world of modeling and nightclubs reports People Magazine. According to Jack Bunick's lawsuit , South Beach, a TV series produced by Lopez that debuted on UPN on Jan. 11, stole from a copyrighted script he wrote in late 1999 for a pilot episode of a show that would have been called South Beach Miami. His version was about two young men from New York who travel to South Beach, where one of them quickly becomes involved with the club and modelling scenes reports AP |
