Marshall Mathers’s, aka Eminem’s, relationship with his wife, Kim is just as volatile as ever. The rapper filed for divorce today after remarrying Kim in January. They had signed a prenup just a few days before their wedding.

"There has been a breakdown in the marriage relationship to the extent that the objects of matrimony have been destroyed and there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved," the papers, filed in the Macomb County, Michigan Clerk’s office, said. Eminem is seeking joint custody of his daughter with Kim, Hailie.

According to Kim’s lawyer, the divorce filing was a shocker. “"It comes to us as somewhat of a surprise. But we have to deal with it, and we will deal with it. I was at their wedding. It's very unfortunate that he filed for divorce," he said.

Marshall and Kim were re-wed on January 14th at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
