Children and LA save Madonna's marriage

Madonna and her husband of five years, director Guy Ritchie owe their marriage to their children (Rocco, 5 and Lourdes, 9) and to Los Angeles, says Ritchie’s father, John. John was interviewed for Closer magazine and revealed the truth behind the Madonna and Guy break up rumors.

"L.A. seems to have helped them,� 76-year-old John said. “It's easier out there because there is less pressure…They're able to go home at night and be together. They both want to see the children. They are going to have a good time out there and be a family.�

Addressing the rumors of a rift between his son and Madonna, John continued, "They seem to have left the bumps they were having over here behind them…You can never know that things will work, but they do seem to be fitting into each other more…It's the children that will keep them together. The children are everything to them.�
